Currently we are seeking experienced Telemetry Registered Nurses (RN) who are qualified to work with pediatrics.
Telemetry with Pediatrics (Specialty II) must have the following:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent telemetry experience
- Worked clinically in an acute care / hospital environment
- Must be flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced triage facility
The Registered Nurse is responsible for professional nursing care for a designated number of telemetry/intermediate patients
Must have the ability to prioritize care for multiple patie! nts while being fully accountable for the evaluation of the adult and geriatric patients
Nurse must be able to perform quick assessments based on the patient's current and past medical history.
Must be able to speak knowledgably to patients and patient's family members, as well as teach the patient about medical and lifestyle issues
REQUIREMENTS:
- Current STATE license (Clinical Resources will assist with this process if license in a new state is required)
- Minimum of 1+ years experience in an acute facility/hospital setting
- Completed Clinical Resources application
- Bachelors degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP and all relevant specialty certifications
- Annual physical examination
- Annual Tuberculosis screening - if TB is positive, must provide proof of a chest X-ray every five years, as well as an annual symptoms review
- Proof of positive titer or immunization! for Rubella, Rubeola, Mumps, Varicella, and either proof of Hepatitis ! B Titer, three Immunizations or declination statements
- Criminal Background Check clearance
- Urine, 10-panel drug test results
- Citizen of the United States or proof of federally approved identification (both must have
- Two job/professional references to verify experience/competency
- Ability to meet Clinical Resources, LLCs competency standards plus JCAHO standards and guidelines
