Tailored Healthcare Staffing (THS), a leading allied healthcare staffing company, is a looking for a Medical Lab Technician.
Laboratory professional responsibilities may include:
? Collecting patient specimens, or instructs patient in the proper collection of a specimen for laboratory testing. Process specimens for testing.
? Performing phlebotomy on both adult and pediatric patients.
? Preparing specimens for shipment to reference laboratory employing appropriate methods for packaging potential infectious or hazardous materials.
? Working with other laboratory staff members in all areas of the laboratory, or as assigned, to complete patient specimen analysis.
? Performing a variety of assays on human, veterinary and environmental specimens with little or no supervision.
? Performing quality control procedures, ensuring validity and accuracy of test results.
? Perfor! ming calibration, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting! on testing systems and instruments.
? Completing documentation of laboratory testing results and records.

THS Position Requirements for Laboratory Positions:
? Licensed and/or eligible for professional licensure as required in the state of practice
