Job Description:
Reporting to the Director of Administrators on Duty; assisting the director in all phases of management with regard to proper! planning, organizing, controlling, monitoring, training, and implementing effective work processes. Under the supervision of the director, this position is responsible for the provision and evaluation of services provided by the Administrators on Duty team.

Requirements:
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred; Masters preferred.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in Acute Adult or Acute Pediatric Medicine and or Adult or Pediatric Emergency or Critical Care Nursing Practice; previous leadership experience in a healthcare setting required.
Type of Employees Supervised: Licensed and non-licensed personnel. Develops positive working relationships with physicians, directors, manag! ers, coordinators, and staff to ensure safe, effective, and ef! ficient delivery of patient care.
Licensure, Registry or Certification Required/Recommended: Licensure: Registered Nurse in South Carolina or licensed in a nurse licensure compact state; Certifications required: Basic Cardiac Life Support, (BCLS). Advanced Cardiac Life Support, (ACLS) preferred. Recommended: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program, and Basic Disaster Life Support (BDLS).
Physical Requirements: Employee must be able to endure extended periods of standing and ambulating long distances; pushing and pulling healthcare equipment to include assisting with patient transfer and transport; must meet minimal lifting requirements.
Special Training: Must have demonstrated experience in coordinating the planning, directing, and evaluation of appropriate patient care; Effective communication, documentation, and conflict resolution skills required; Emergency Management and Disaster Preparedness! are strongly desired; Software:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software is strongly encouraged.
