We are look! ing for a Pediatric Oncology Inpatient Nurse Manager. This 18 bed unit treats patients 2 weeks to 29 years old requiring diagnosis/treatment of hematology/oncology, renal/urologic abnormalities and endocrine dysfunctions.

Job Summary :
Reports to the Director/Service Line Administrator. The Nurse Manager ensures the provision of his/her departments in collaboration with other health professionals in an environment that is respectful of others, accountable for outcomes and adaptive to change. The Nurse Manager is responsible for the planning and comprehensive operations of department/unit on a 24-hour basis.
Education/Experience requirement :
Master's degree in Nursing or Bachelor's degree in Nursing with an education plan to obtain a Master's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of nursing work experience required (three years of nursing experience and two years of supervisory in a Pedi! atric Oncology setting). Current South Carolina licensure or l! icensure in a compact state as a registered nurse. Chemo certified. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
