Spartanburg Regional's Regional Physician Group (Palmetto Pediatrics - West) has an ope! ning for a full-time Patient Access Representative - PAR (8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday ). The PAR is responsible for greeting all patients, collecting and documenting correct demographic and billing information, an accurate cash drawer, issuing receipts, daily deposits, assist patients with scheduling/rescheduling/confirming of all appointments, and maintaining an orderly flow of patients through the reception and lobby area. The PAR must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Three years of Medical Office or hospital registration experience, Typing 50 words per minute minimum, ICD9 and/or CPT coding, knowledge of insurance, financial experience, balancing and handling large sums of money.
