As the primary representative for hospital administration, the Administrative Supervisor uses clinical expertise and management sk! ills to direct implementation of administrative plans into efficient economical quality patient care. The Administrative Supervisor coordinates the activities of the hospital after office hours, seven days a week by serving as a resource supervisory person to all departments.
Qualifications
Position Requirements:
Licensure:
Current licensure in the State of South Carolina as a Registered Nurse; BLS Healthcare provider/ pediatric; ACLS credentials
Education:
Graduate of a NLN accrediated school of nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of three years recent nursing practice, with at least two years of experience as a Permanent Charge Nurse or a nursing leadership position preferred. Physically and mentally capable to satisfy job requirements. Expertise in IV therapy and blood/blood products administration with high level of proficiency.
Special Qualific! ations:
Effective communication skills; both orally an! d written, with flexible interpersonal skills to facilitate the exchange of information within all levels of the organization. Ability to effectively read, write and speak fluent English. Computer skills needed. Ability to manage and work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care. Strong problem solving skills. Creative and innovative skills in personnel management and ability to facilitate growth and development of department and staffing.
