Position Summary: Performs drug distribution and clinical responsibilities on orders of the Medical Staff; evaluates orders and provides drug therapy for the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient, then dispenses accordingly; provides patient/family and community education; participates in established clinical functions to define areas to improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications: Currently licensed in SC as a Registered Pharmacist. No experience required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows. Must have high level of confidentiality.
OSHA Category: Rare exposure to risk of bloodborne diseases (Category II). May be exposed to chemical hazards on a regular basis (Category A). Physical Requirements: Exert up to 50 lbs. force occas! ionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly. Prolonged standing, sitting, and walking. Perform repetitive tasks/motions. Must be able to distinguish colors. Must pass fit test for respirator.
