Duties & Responsibilities
Generate sales revenue
–Identify prospective customers by using online platforms, following leads from existing clients, attending trade shows and
conferences, and any other means.
–Contact and visit new and existing customers to discuss their needs and to explain how specific products can meet
these needs or to make technical product presentations, and to help customers select products based on the customers’
needs.
–Respond immediately to customers’ questions about prices, availability, and product uses.
–Negotiate prices and terms of sales.
–Prepare sales quotations and submit orders for processing.
–Receive requests by telephone, fax or email for price quotations, purchase orders, and changes or cancellations directly
from customers.
–Increase the value of current customers while developing new ones.
Maintain after-sales business relationship
–Work with the Credit Department to establish new accounts, including assisting customer in preparing and processing
credit terms/limit paperwork.
–Submits weekly / monthly sales activity reports and forecast reports to Sales Manager; provides briefings to Sales
Manager as necessary or as requested.
–Meet / exceed sales & collection goals.
–Performs any other duties as assigned.
–Maintain customer records.
–Meeting customers as may be needed from time to time outside working hours
Training
–Attending company training sessions on products or services and completing study assignments.
–Learn or to make technical product presentations, and to help customers select products based on the customers’
needs.
Qualifications
● 4 years College Graduate.
● Have a minimum 1-2 years prior experience in sales, preferably within the industry.
● Have command of good communicating skills with customers, management, and other co-workers, both
individually and in front of a group.
● Be well aware of Company policies, processes, and procedures.
● Reasonable command of skills in the use of common office equipment such as phones, computers, calculators,
and copiers, and specific tasks such as email, presentations, and software.
● Be able to exercise good reasoning ability
○ To solve a wide range of business problems
○ To assess, understand, and utilize financial reports and legal documents to conduct business.
○ To prepare and maintain customers records like quotations, specs, MSDS, COA, etc.
○ To be able to negotiate and enter into contracts on suitable terms for purchase of materials.
● Have thorough knowledge of the products that are going to be offered to customers and their specifications,
quality, quantity and benefits.
● Be well aware of the market conditions and should have market data like competitors’ pricing, supply capabilities,
and market demand.
● Be physically fit to travel and commute as needed.
● Be willing and able to work long hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
● Be comfortable working in a team.
● Be results-oriented and focused.
● Be comfortable in managing time and prioritization.
