The Director assumes 24-hour responsibility and accountability for nursing care for Women\\\'s Health, Nursery, and Postpartum ! and Department as well as Pediatrics at TMC. The Director assumes responsibility for care of patients as they move through the hospital and into the home or other care facilities. Provides leadership and support to the unit using leadership skills to ensure best outcomes and high quality compassionate patient care. The director works with medical staff and other health care professionals collaboratively. Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Job may include direct supervision of students at the discretion of the area supervisor. Employee must have the same licensure or have completed the same training to satisfy the requirements of the discipline of the student. Direct supervision means the primary caregiver is readily available to the student throughout the shift. 100FTEs Requirements: BLS - Healthcare providerNRP-Within 6 months of employmentBSN or MastersLabor and Delivery, Nursery, Pediatrics, or Neonatal Intensive Care experience required.
