Sodexo has a need for a Registered Dietitian with 0-1 year experience to provide nutrition care at the Medical University of SC (MUSC).
MUSC is a 750 bed teaching hospital located in beautif! ul, historical Charleston, SC. The Children's Hospital makes up approximately 120 of these beds.
The General Pediatric dietitian position is responsible for conducting basic nutrition assessments, educations and care planning.
In an effort to promote the continuum of patient care, inpatient and outpatient services are provided for disease specific services.
The responsibilities for this Clinical Dietitian 1 position include the nutrition assessment and monitoring of Pediatric patients.
The position allows the Registered Dietitian to work with a variety of disease states.
The ideal candidate must be eligible for SC licensure.
Registration with Commission on Dietetic Registration is required
Position Summary:
Provides basic nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in basic principles of nutrit! ion and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care re! sponsibilities without training and direction.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - 1 years work experience in health care including
hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term
care, retirement homes, or clinics, m eets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
